Are You Positive?

Receiving a positive diagnosis to HIV means that you are infected with HIV. An HIV disease progresses to AIDS, either quickly or over a period of time. Each individual is different. HIV treatment can include drugs to help keep a person healthy. The Damien Center helps counsel infected and affected individuals, their families and friends.

If you are diagnosed positive, please consider a visit to or contact the Damien Center. We can help you find proper treatment, provide support and counseling and assist with other life responsibilities such as nutrition, transportation, and housing.

The Damien Center also offers specialized case management for families and children infected with HIV through Riley Hospital for Children on a weekly basis.
