Since 1987, the Damien Center has been helping individuals, families and children who have been impacted by HIV/AIDS. There is still no cure for AIDS.

Your financial support helps us help our clients live their life with dignity. Children and families need your support for transportation, food, housing, medicine and care. As a leader in HIV/AIDS prevention within the state of Indiana, the Damien Center also works to reduce the number of people impacted by HIV/AIDS each day. Our testing center is open daily for free and confidential testing with results in 20 minutes.

Please consider a gift to the Damien Center. You can make a difference.  To donate, please contact our Director of Development, Jasmine Burnett: jburnett@damien.org.

Donate to Our Efroymson Client Services Assurance Fund

The Center's Client Services Assurance Fund, born from the Center's capital campaign efforts, was started by the financial generosity of the Efroymson Fund.  This restricted and board monitored Fund allows Damien Center programs to be safeguarded against future potential Federal, Indiana State, and Marion County budget cuts.  If this occurs, money will be used from this Fund to supplement the associated costs, so that programs can continue for our community and our clients uninterrupted. Please contact Christopher Ittenbach: cittenbach@damien.org or 632.0123 x269 to learn more about this Fund, or to make a donation.

Donate to The Marlin Jon Moman Living Memorial Prevention Fund

The Damien Center is pleased to announce a new Fund created by the family and friends of Marlin J. Moman who died of AIDS-related causes in 1994. Marlin was a client at the Center, and the family was greatly assisted by the support from the Damien Center through prayers, support groups, new friends, and a memorial service. J. David Moman, Marlin's brother, is an employee of the Center and has been for over two years. He has worked with the Center before that by creating a program at his last employer for chemically dependent HIV+ clients.

The sole purpose of this Fund is to help prevent teh spread of this deadly disease by sustaining and increasing personnnel to test and teach about prevention. The current staff often have to make personal sacrifices in order to provide this daily and weekend converage to meet the community's needs. The Moman Family and their friends have already made financial donations and commitments to the Fund to help it truly be a Living Fund. But this has to be a community effort as well to sustain these prevention goals.

Contribtutions can now be made. Please make out checks to The Damein Center and "memo" it MJM Fund. These funds will be used only for its stated purporse. For more information, please contact David Moman: dmoman@damien.org for more information.
