Angel is a near-east side native of Indianapolis and is excited to be working with the neighborhoods and communities he grew up around. He completed a bachelor’s and Master of Science at Purdue University where he conducted research on sexual wellbeing and reproductive health. He continued his education at Indiana University to pursue a Master of Public Health and completed research through the Center for Sexual Health Promotion. Being a queer person of color has provided him with similar experiences many others in our communities’ encounter. Having these similarities provides the public health lens necessary in delivering adequate and inclusive preventative health care for those most impacted by HIV and other STI’s.
