John David Patrick

John David joined Damien Center after working in the hospitality industry for 10 years. In his previous roles, John David specialized with customer relations, special events, sales, and marketing. As the Donor Relations Officer, John David will be responsible for helping Damien Center reach its fundraising goals by identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual and corporate gifts. He will work closely with the development team to discover innovative strategies that will help donors accomplish their philanthropic goals and ambitions with Damien Center.

John David is also passionate for the performing arts and serves as the Vice President and Events Manager for the Indianapolis Men’s Chorus, which he has been a part of since 2015. He graduated from IUPUI with his Bachelor’s in Arts & Humanities, focusing on communications and tourism management. Being a community, HIV/AIDS, and LGBTQ+ advocate, John David is thrilled to combine his skills and experience to work closely with Damien Center’s team and donors to achieve the center’s goals and mission.

In his free time, John David enjoys spending quality time with his family, finding new recipes to cook, spending time gardening in the sun, and attending performing arts events.
