Kelly’s interest in HIV/AIDS advocacy began during her time as an undergraduate student at Indiana University in the late 1980s, an experience that sparked her long-term commitment to community advocacy, social equity, and working with organizations providing direct support for individuals impacted by HIV/AIDS. She has been an active volunteer in the Coby Palmer Food Pantry, and her time there deepened her commitment to the important work at the Damien Center. She has an interest in the intersections between public health, housing, and food insecurity. She looks forward to bringing her passion for community health, organizational experience, and dedication to inclusivity to the Damien Center’s Board of Directors.
