Tessa Barnard
Tessa joined Damien Center in September 2020 as the Volunteer Manager. Tessa has been in volunteer administration since 2013 working with organizations that serve individuals with disabilities, youth and young adults experiencing homelessness, and community residents. She has served as the Continuing Education Co-Chair for the Cincinnati Association of Volunteer Administrators (CAVA) and was actively involved with the Central Indiana Association of Volunteer Administrators (CIAVA). She is excited to grow Damien Center’s volunteer program.
She grew up outside of Muncie, Indiana and is a Ball State graduate with a degree in Interpersonal Communication. In her free time you can find her at home lounging in her hammock listening to an audiobook, brewing batches of kombucha in her basement, or volunteering at Brooke’s Place for Grieving Young People.
