Spring Fling: Celebrating Talbott Street

The inaugural Damien Center Spring Fling will take place at 416 Wabash on April 22. This year, we will be honoring the legacy of one of Indianapolis' most beloved queer spaces - Talbott Street. The Spring Fling offers the community an opportunity to engage with the Damien Center and give back. The Spring Fling will raise much needed funds for the Damien Center's programming.
Join us as a we celebrate the memory of this historic nightlife venue and it's longstanding impact on the LGBTQ+ community. Honorees include Kent Henry, Stan Wellman, Vivian Farris, and Michael Strapulos.
DJ Jackola will take us on a music journey to reminisce on Talbott's legacy - from the inception of the venue to the final years as one of the leading LGBTQ+ spaces in Central Indiana.
