Alan brings over fifteen years of experience in nonprofit management to the Damien Center. Most recently, he served as the Executive Director for the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention (CHIP) of Greater Indianapolis. Alan also has prior experience working with The Damien Center and in the field of HIV/AIDS. With a wealth of experience in HIV/AIDS, housing and nonprofit leadership, the board has great confidence in Alan’s ability to lead The Damien Center into the future.
Witchey’s previous work with The Damien Center started as a volunteer in the 1990s, and later became a full-time position. His first task will be to begin the strategic planning process to decide the future direction of the organization, and what improvements can be made to existing programs and services.
