Alexis Taylor
Alexis comes to Damien Cares with 17 years of mental health experience, first as a registered nurse and now as a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005 and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2015, both from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. Alexis spent 11 years working as an RN at the Community Behavioral Health Pavilion at Community North and 6 years working as an NP at 2 different Community Behavioral Health outpatient offices. She has experiencing treating patients diagnosed with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, and substance use disorders. She has a passion for taking care of underserved populations. She is excited to work in an integrated care setting that promotes comprehensive physical and mental health care.
In her spare time, Alexis enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys being outdoors with her children and pets, going to movies, and reading.
