Darin Ramsey
Darin completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Western Kentucky University followed by his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Butler University. He completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the R.L. Roudebush VA Medical Center and a PGY2 Specialty Residency at IU-Methodist Family Practice Center. For 13 years, his clinical practice site was at the Richard. L. Roudebush VA Medical Center where he served as a clinical pharmacist in primary care and served as a preceptor to students completing their ambulatory care rotation. On campus, he teaches in the Therapeutics sequence in both the Pharmacy and Physician Assistant programs and in Self-Care and Health Promotion. Areas of interest include pain management, substance use disorders, diabetes, tobacco cessation, and COPD. Dr. Ramsey is a co-director for the Indiana Pharmacy Teaching Certificate Program (IPTeC) and is an Associate Editor for the Journal of the American Pharmacists Association (JAPhA).
