Dawnna Hixon
Dawnna joined Damien Center in 2022 as the Chief Financial Officer. Dawnna is a CPA who received her undergraduate degree from Northwood University and her Master of Science in Accounting from IUPUI-Kelley School of Business.
Dawnna previously worked for United Way of Central Indiana for twelve years. In her most recent role as Accounting Director, she oversaw a team of professionals processing revenue and incoming payments. Dawnna worked with leadership on day-to-day finance operations and with auditors on annual financial and benefit plan audits and tax filings. Dawnna is also a graduate of United Way of Central Indiana’s Leadership United program, Class of 2017.
In her downtime, Dawnna enjoys camping with her husband, two children and two German Shepherd/Husky pups. When at home, she enjoys dabbling in crafts/sewing and getting comfy with her cat to read or watch shows. She’s a fan of Harry Potter and loves getting together with her family to play games, charades, and karaoke.
