Jaymes Young
Jaymes was born and raised in Indianapolis. While later living in Bloomington, IN, Jaymes became involved with the local AIDS Service Organization, Positive Link. Through peer advocacy, he found a passion for serving those also affected by HIV. He returned to college and now holds a Master’s of Social Work at Indiana University School of Social Work – Indianapolis. Jaymes has a focus on the needs of those aging with HIV/AIDS. Jaymes began his time at Damien as a student intern and was a Care Coordinator and then a Medical Case Manager for several years. He is now the Integrative Care Team Program Manager overseeing Non-Medical and Medical Case Management.
In his free time, Jaymes likes to spend time with family, read, and relentlessly follow politics. His favorite quote is, "Children are the living messages we send to a time we will not see," - Neil Postman.
