Experienced across the healthcare spectrum consisting of everything from nursing school and emergency department administration to Medicaid policy within the State of Indiana, Jeff has a comprehensive knowledge of healthcare administration and payor responsibilities. Since joining CareSource in early 2018, he has had oversight of the Indiana contract managers, provider representative team, claim research and resolution team, and provider data analysts. Working in tandem with enterprise services, his team is able to ensure the credentialing of newly contracted providers occurs timely in addition to involvement in the provider dispute & appeal process for claims. All provider communications are reviewed by his team to proactively share guidance with

providers and stakeholders while also responding to requests from providers for additional clarification.

Jeff graduated from the Indiana University School of Liberal Arts with a B.A. in Political Science. After gaining clinical experience at the IU School of Nursing and mentoring anatomy students, transitioned to a major in Political Science to focus on healthcare legislation and government process. Jeff is in the United States Marine Corps Reserves and previously served as a member of Health Modernization & Innovation Workgroup and State Loan Repayment Workgroup established by the Governor’s Health Workforce Council.

Outside of CareSource, Jeff is the president of the Windsor Park Neighborhood Association and active with a group of runners that he refers to as his “adventure friends”. Jeff moved to Indianapolis about 10 years ago and is excited to be more engaged with the community.
