Joe Foster
Joe Foster (340B ACE, CPhT) is the new 340B Compliance Manager at the Damien Center. Joe comes to the Damien Center with 18 years of healthcare experience. He started his healthcare career working in addiction/behavioral counseling as Therapist Assistant. He transferred to pharmacy within Ascension (St. Vincent) 14 years ago. He has a significant amount of experience as a pharmacy technician/buyer.
Most recently, Joe helped set up and implement 340B software and standards at 3 different Indiana hospitals. He also takes part in state and national calls about 340B operations within Ascension Health.
Prior to this, Joe had established a charity through 340B to provide charity supplements to cancer patients in collaboration with Little Red Door. He managed and created procurement and a workflow for supplements which allowed Little Red Door to have their staff regulate and register these patients.
Joe earned his 340B ACE Certification from Apexus University and is a certified pharmacy technician. Joe is very happy to be with the Damien Center.
