Dr. Byerly was born and raised in Indianapolis. After graduating high school at Lawrence Central, she attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to earn her Bachelor of Science. Dr. Byerly continued her education at Marquette, where she earned her D.D.S. degree with honors in 2009. She completed an additional year of training with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Dr. Byerly finds the most rewarding part of her job in the smiles of her patients. Helping patients in a welcoming and comfortable environment is a top priority. She gives patients an active role in their treatment and believes that open communication is key. Kate is an active volunteer with Donated Dental Services, a service that provides free dental care to low-income, medically compromised and elderly patients. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing soccer, camping, and spending time with family and friends. She enjoys home brewing beer and has even recently began growing her own hops.
