Originally from Tucson AZ and a 2020 graduate of Earlham College in Richmond IN, Kennedy comes to the Damien Center through the Indianapolis Public Allies AmeriCorp program. She graduated from Earlham with a degree in Human Development and Social Relations (HDSR), an interdisciplinary major combining sociology, anthropology, and psychology. Through her passion with supporting others, Kennedy previously participated in an internship at Stanford Sierra Youth and Families, a foster care agency in Sacramento CA, as well as volunteered through Volunteers of America at Winchester House, a drug residential treatment center in Winchester IN.

Kennedy is currently serving as the Damien Center’s Employment Specialist, creating an employment program. With the resources and workshops that will be provided, Kennedy hopes to empower clients through barriers when it comes to finding a job. She is so excited to be a part of the Damien Family and to see the program excel!
