Logan Harrison is the Senior Public Affairs Director at Anthem, Inc. where he is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to advocate enterprise and state specific legislative and regulatory positions to support business goals and objectives. He consults and advises with Anthem's strategic business units and corporate enterprise executives for business planning, development and achieving financial goals. Logan is actively engaged in implementing strategies to lower the cost of care but improve quality and outcomes for Anthem members and their employers. Previously, he was vice president and general counsel at the Insurance Institute of Indiana. Prior to that, Logan served in former Indiana Governors Daniels’ and Pence’s Administrations as the Chief Deputy at the Indiana Department of Insurance and primarily focused on health insurance, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and was the lead insurance policy director for the two former governors’ health care reform task force. Logan is also a Major in the United States Army Reserve Judge Advocate General’s Corps where he served as a Brigade Staff Judge Advocate, Senior Defense Counsel and is now with the 16th Legal Operations Detachment at Fort Hamilton, NY. Logan also serves on the board of directors for the Marion County Public Defender Agency and Christel House Indianapolis. Logan received his juris doctor from the Indiana University McKinney School of Law and earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University Bloomington.
