He/TheyMarkus Silvey is an Elder HOPWA Housing Case Manager working to provide clients 55+ with both short- and long-term housing assistance. He has extensive experience with customer and client service, and also comes to us with a background in management, leadership, and development. In regard to his work, Markus says “It’s all about people!”. Markus came to Damien because wanted to do something meaningful for his community and give back to the people that have done so much for him in the 25 years he’s lived in Indy.
In his free time, Markus likes spending time with his husband, Boston terrier, and Boston chihuahua mix. He also loves camping, being outdoors, and baking – he actually has a degree in Pastry Arts!
