Michelle joined the Damien Center in January of 2020, bringing more than 25 years of experience in business and nonprofit accounting. She is a lifelong Hoosier and received her Bachelor of Science in both Business and Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, IN. She began her career at Indiana Cooperative Library Services Authority and most recently served for seven years as the Director of Finance at the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention (CHIP). Michelle is excited to be part of the Damien team and bring her experience and skills to the organization.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending her daughter's soccer games at IUPUI, reading, running, and snuggling with her cat, Dipstick (named for the white tip on his tail).
