Nathaniel Burton
Nathaniel is Chicago native that has spent his adolescence relocating throughout the mid-west. Though after graduating from Morton’s Performing Arts Academy, Nathaniel has relocated to Indianapolis to study and pursue a career in business, however he found a family of friends that would allow him to call Indy a home.
He studied at the Kelley School of Business, where he soon graduated with degrees in Business Administration, Business Marketing, and Music for Vocal Performance. Nathaniel Conquered his college career as the youngest president of Student African American Brotherhood (SAAB 2018), a member of IUPUI phenomenal acapella group, On A Side Note (ONCE), and as one of the greatest Speech Night Competition 1st place Champions where his speech “Freedom from Oppression” has been documented and filmed for documentaries, one that IUPUI uses to help teach student and to acknowledgement as one of the best motivation speeches IUPUI has seen.
As Nathaniel began his career life during the heart of an epidemic, he re-focused his life to become a social worker and use his passions to help bring about the necessary change that our society needs to move forward. As a Care Case Manager at The Damien Center, Nathaniel plans to gain the knowledge needed to start a foundation of his own one day, to help bring restoration to our community. All while also pursuing a career in music and acting.
Nathaniel has recently become known as NAYTE B, due to releasing music and performing skits, that has helped book many performances and even got him accepted into the NEW YORK FILM ACADEMY with the talent-based award. Nayte B plans to build and use his platform to help carry the legacy of the Damien Center and give back to the community in the future, for his dream is to help make the world a better place!
