Nidia Garza

Dr. Nidia Garza is a professional speaker, and HR executive, with over 18 years of healthcare executive leadership and most recently in financial services. Currently serving as the Vice President of Talent Management for OneAmerica Financial in Indianapolis, IN.

A certified Coach by the International Coaching Federation, Nidia possesses a doctorate in Organizational Leadership, and a master degree in Knowledge Management. Her 16 years of human resources leadership experience, with an intense focus on talent management, ensures OneAmerica Financial provides leaders and associates the tools and development to maximize their potential during a time of continuous change.

Dr. Garza has worked with companies operating in Indiana, New York, Florida, Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Puerto Rico, and internationally in Chile, Colombia, and Mexico so she enjoys the cultural variety, and the opportunity to create an impact by developing leaders in all walks of life. Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Nid (as commonly known to her friends), along with her wife Abby reside in Indianapolis, IN. She feels a strong commitment with the community and volunteers for different organizations that focus on human rights, professional advancement of the Latin population, and the welfare of the LGBTQIA+ community. She serves currently as the Chair of the LIMRA Diverse Markets Committee, board member of The Damien Center, and Chair of the HR Taskforce of Damien Center.
