Rick Tisdale

Vice President of Human Resources
Pronoun:
He/Him

Rick comes to the Damien Center after 20 plus years of human resources experience. Rick worked for local nonprofits including United Way of Central Indiana and Easterseals Crossroads. He is a Ball State University graduate with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Classical Culture. Rick is a certified DiSC facilitator and enjoys examining individual work styles and how teams can work more effectively together. He is a native Hoosier and has lived in the Indianapolis community since 1989 and happily calls Downtown home.

In his downtime you can find Rick digging through local vintage stores to find that perfect mid-century modern piece to satisfy his passion for architecture, design and color (with orange as his favorite) and anything retro. Rick is a huge music fanatic with eighties, disco and dance as his favorites. You might spot him hanging out at Livery, Metro, or wandering Mass Ave people watching.

Rick is very passionate about the local non-profit community and feels that Damien Center was the logical next career step for him based on shared beliefs and values supporting the HIV and Trans communities.
