Ruben Hernan Hernandez Mondragon
Dr. Hernandez is originally from Honduras and has been part of Indianapolis Community since 2005, he is a board-certified family physician with dedication to Care underrepresented communities. Areas of special interest include Health Disparities, Global Medicine, LGBTQ Health care, Lifestyle Medicine and Fitness
He currently serves as Vice Chair of Education for the Department of Family Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine and advisor for Global Health and LGBTQ health medical track for Family Medicine Residents.
He has implemented multiple curricula changes on medical education and IU-Family Medicine residency programs to improve current and future generations of Health care providers.
He is an active member and leader at National and International Medical Organizations such as the Society of Teacher of Family Medicine, American Academy of Family Physicians and WONCA (The world organization of Family Doctors).
