He/They

Born and raised in Indiana, Tate is an analytical healthcare administrator and passionate advocate for health equity—receiving their B.S. in Health Services Management from IU Fairbanks School of Public Health in 2018.

Tate has held multiple roles at Damien Center, first joining as a Quality Assurance Specialist in 2019, then serving as 340B Program Manager in 2020 and 2021. After a temporary relocation to the Pacific Northwest, Tate returned home to Indiana in 2023 and is thrilled to rejoin Damien Center as the organization’s first Revenue Cycle Manager. With a deep connection to the agency’s mission and clients, Tate hopes to utilize their multifaceted skillset to once again further the Center’s impact and empower Hoosiers affected by HIV to thrive.

Outside of work, you can find Tate supporting local queer artists and events, enjoying a visit to their favorite spots in Fountain Square, dancing, writing, shopping, or enjoying time at home with his two cats, Mia and Millie.
