Tyson has worked in different facets of healthcare for 20 years. He has worked in a variety of medical clinics/hospitals including family medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics. He was General Manager of an ABA center for children with autism and was principal of a Montessori school for ages 4-16. He has also worked in higher education and was a faculty member for Harrison College, formerly Indiana Business College, and Medtech Institute/Radians College in Washington, D.C. He was also Director of Medical Programs and Regional Training and Development Leader for JTC Education. He has reviewed textbooks for a variety of publishers and was a test bank writer for McGraw-Hill. He earned his Medical Assistant degree from Professional Careers Institute and his Bachelors in Healthcare Management from National American University. Tyson is certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants, American Medical Technologists, and the National Healthcareer Association.
