It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news that we have lost a member of The Damien Center family. Justin Kilgore, Director of Administration and Human Resources, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015.
Justin joined The Damien Center in 2013, and in his position, he was a huge advocate for The Damien Center's employees. Justin was a funny, generous, and gregarious individual whose laughter and smile always brought joy to everyone’s day.
Justin was a native Floridian and attended Florida Southern and Georgetown University. He called Washington, D.C. home for five years, until he moved to the Midwest. The Damien Center is very thankful that he moved to the Circle City and blessed our office with professionalism, wit, energy, and laughter. He made a lasting mark not only on the office and staff, but also on anyone who had the opportunity to meet him.
Justin made everyone feel welcomed and was always quick with a story and a listening ear. He will be greatly missed! The Damien Center family sends our deepest condolences to Justin’s partner, Rob, and Justin’s family and friends.
