Our team connects clients with the care they need and helps them overcome barriers to care – such as transportation or insurance – while our other services provide HIV resources and support.

Our trained testing team recommends that if you have had multiple casual sex partners in the course of a few months, you should get tested every three months. Most sexually active people should get tested every six months. People in monogamous relationships may use their own discretion, but we recommend testing once per year.

All of our services are offered completely free of charge to the community, which means we rely on public and private support from individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies to continue to meet the needs of our community.

Founded in 1987, Damien Center is Indiana’s oldest and largest AIDS service organization (ASO) and serves more than 4,000 individuals affected and infected by HIV/AIDS through a comprehensive, innovative approach to HIV care and prevention.
